Latin help

I've just received an email from sapfir_imla on behalf of a colleague of hers. Can anyone help? I suspect I have a few people more knowledgeable about Latin than me on my friends list...

I get, '[A] sculpted [thing] above the large window of the refectory, from / outside the northerly part of the same house'.

Probably the main stumbling-block here is 'domus' - this is fourth declension, so without marks to indicate vowel length, the genitive looks the same as the nominative.

Your friend will have to decide whether this makes sense in context!

My Latin is a bit rusty, but this sounds about right to me - my guess was 'a carving above the large refectory window outside the northern part of the same house'.
