hey girl, I just wanted to say that I know people who are/are going to teach English in Thailand and Taiwan, and in both cases you don't have to know any Chinese to teach the classes, since they are "total immersion" (no Chinese speaking at all). A couple who are close friends with my boyfriend have lived in Taiwan for two years teaching and know very very little Chinese and have been just fine!
