Afghan complete!

Well, I finally completed my afghan blanket last night, and I'm really very happy with it! It's cosy, and it turned out better than I expected. Not bad for my first time using only a written pattern without videos to help!

Oh the whole male/female/gay/lesbian stereotypes are so narrow, it's much better to just ignore them :) i think your rug looks totally rad!! Boy you have some sure talents!! :D

If it makes you feel any better, ben knits - when no ones watching lol. He also sews. I guess i'm a bit like you in that i like having a go at different things. :)

lol, it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I spent high school with "faggot" shouted at me, and toward the end of school, I was just like "Yes, and?" I'm getting to the stage where I'm living more for myself and ignoring others, haha - I'm working on things in therapy, and will write a more explanatory post soon. :)

Nice! "When no one's watching", haha! I need to learn to knit too - I have the equipment! I would find it hard to restrict myself to one art form, haha - I even resent that I don't have time to get better at my instruments! I have too many hobbies. :P

It's crochet, but it's pretty similar to knitting. I'll learn knitting soon enough, I guess. :P And the funny thing is that I don't know how to sew! I can embroider with the thick yarn but that's about it.
