its not about being picturesque its about obtaining freedom for myself and ditching the tyranny's of this bullshit we call a life.
and actually its psychologically "proven" that material wealth does not correlate with the happiness of a person.
Take Nigeria for example, they are the happiest people in the world according to a study done a few years ago and they are one of the poorest countries.
This isnt an arguement. Its how I feel and what I want to do.

I wasn't trying to argue anything but though I wasn't saying that possessions buy lasting happiness; I did mean temporary stuff.
like, if you go to a show and buy a shirt of a band you like; you don't need that shirt and probably had others, but you wanted it, you had the money for it, you realized there wouldn't be too many negative consequences behind buying it and you went ahead and did so. of course you're happy that you have it, and maybe it's not enough to make you happy for hours, or days, or weeks or months on end, but you bought it because you wanted it, because you knew you'd be at least a little cheerier knowing you can rep that band wherever now.
of course, that's how citizens of first world countries are brought up now, and I don't agree with it either in that we consume wayyy too much stuff.
