One of the things I've found to be very neat in the last few months, is the Google Translation feature.
For many years I used Babelfish, and it was okay, but pretty rickety. This Google one seems much better... even has a language SENSOR!

I didn't know that that was the word for "modern". (I once found myself grasping for this and said "ivrit bayom", which got me a funny look but not a correction.)

Yeah, that's the word for "modern." Kind of disappointing really; I like your word better. And have been enjoying your Talmud posts.

Well, mine is the sort of pidgin you get by applying logic to a limited vocabulary. I like it, but I'm told it's wrong. :-)
