It was just last week that Morgan and I walked into a  Caribou Coffee  in St. Paul.  The trivia question was "Where is Paisley Park?"  I was able to correctly answer Chanhassen.  He had just given a concert the night before and one of the Baristas had been there

It strikes close to home when you share a metro area with someone that high profile.
Yes indeed; I lived in the little town of Camarillo, California - and I remember when the movie Titanic came out accompanied by endless special TV features and documentaries.

So when one local boy went to church there, whole streets were shut down from people crowding in to have a look at Leonardo DiCaprio.

He no longer attends, to the relief of the church and many locals at least.

By the way, are you tracking on Israel's negotiations with Russia? As with Egypt, Putin is making a bid to replace the US as ally and aid source.

It worked with Egypt, and I understand that Netanyahu is receptive.

I am aware of them, but not watching closely.

I generally think it is good for Israel to be diversifying, and I think Russia is taking the threat of Islamism seriously.

The US is not. And I don't see that changing. Even Trump seems likely to respond with political theatre that will inconvenience the uninvolved while leaving the machinery intact

Trump's treatment of Israel and the Middle East in general is less than my hopes but better than your expectations. It can still go either way.
