I'm back in Sacramento now. For the last few days I've been up in northern California staying in a luxurious hotel in Eureka. Shireen and I spent almost five days together reminiscing about the area and what it means to each of us. It really was a good time. I wasn't sure what to expect when we started the road trip up to Eureka and couldn't find the onramp, but even our being turned around and lost was part of the adventure as a whole. I got a bunch of driftwood that I plan to turn into interesting creations of art. :)

I've been stomping around & exploring this area for about 7 months now & it's nothing but a constantly ever-evolving package of gorgeous surprises & magical stumblings

Was the beach you found right by the mouth of a river - Redwood Creek in Orick? If it was i think I was there once way back when I first came up here. You have to drive through this tiny dirt road with bunches of cows on either side & you think you must be trespassing or heading somewhere the public isn't meant to go - but then it opens up & you're at this beautiful beach covered with driftwood?
It may have been another spot - but who knows - it's all gorgeous anyway.

*click* Actually, the thought of looking you up did occur to me. I have been hesitant on that front mostly because you and Psy have had some tough times lately. I wasn't sure exactly where I fit into all that, so I just kinda let things sit. I am happy that it would have been fine to look you up, it would have been a blast to have a local show us some of the sights ( ... )
