I really can't afford to slip and take a tumble right now, so if I do have to walk in it I will be being very, very careful.
But what really worries me is driving... Some people don't seem to understand that it is slippery, visiblity drops to zero, headlights are a good idea and no full beams do not help since all that happens is your lights bounce off the snowflakes.
And for goodness sake they need to allow more room for stopping, use their gears rather than brakes to slow down gradually, watch their speed and remember there could be ice under the pretty white stuff (see the earlier comment about slippery).

When it snows I always walk into work, rather than risk damaging the car, or rather some idoit damaging the car, its a good 35min walk, although this time I may drive I've been waiting for good snowfall since I got my new car to see what its like in the snow.
What ever you do be careful with that knee I would not walk on it in slippery conditions or not far if you can away with it.
I think the Snow will hit Coventry a few hours before us, but they are now promising 15cm around here, which is a good thickness, although with these things we will probably end up with a light frosting.
