Today I was stopped by the Windsor police. No, I wasn't in a car. I was walking. I was walking on the sidewalk, on my street, going home from work. In truth, I was heading to the corner store to pick up some laundry soap, then on my way home.
The conversation went similar to this:
Police: excuse me!
me: huh, yes?
Police: come here please
me: **walks up to the car** yes?
Police: what are you doing?
me: um, going to the store for laundry detergent...
Police: what's your name?
me: Richard...
Police: ok, what's your last name?
me: Caron...
Police: with a 'C'?
me: yes...
Police: when's your birthday?
me: April 17th, 1984
Police: september?
me: april...
Police: 82?
me: 84...
Police: ok... **types into his computer**
me:...
Police: where do you live?
me: Peter street (note: the street I was standing on)
Police: hrm.... ok!
me: ok?
Police: ok!
me: al...right.... **walks away**
That's my tale... I walk on the wild side...
Edit:
They kept driving up and down the street as I walked home, and everytime they passed, they would watch me like a hawk.
