A bunch of us went to see Alice in Wonderland. I thought it was good if you took it as being all about the visuals. Characterisation and that kind of thing wasn't in it, despite it having a bunch of my favourite actors. (Timothy Spall, Helena Bonham Carter, etc).

I was gonna say what Alphamatrix said. But now I won't.

3D aside, I wasn't that impressed with Alice as a film. It was "ok", but nothing that made me go "wow".

The boys and I dislike 3D movies, mainly because we don't have to wear glasses for our eyesight so object to wearing them to watch a movie. Maybe it's easier for people who are used to wearing glasses and are used to the fact that you can only see properly within the field of view of the glasses. Ali and Dunk will opt for the 2D version of a movie every time.

Having previously been from a video background, I'd much rather see really good high resolution pictures. Maybe things will improve in the 3D front given time. I like the idea of 3D clubbing rooms though!
