Everyone knows I love the North so it seems rather apt that it seems the place to be this Christmas is Manchester.

The huge ferris wheel that was in Birmingham last year (far superior to the one in place this year) is now the Wheel Of Manchester and the pantomime is Dick Whittington starring the Chuckle Brothers for me and Jeffrey Holland for the ( Read more... )

How can you say Birmingham is the christmas place to be? Don't you remember how the rest of the Country laughed at us as we banned Christmas! You couldn't mention Christmas as "it was offensive to non-Christians". Nope you couldn't have Christmas - it was Wintersville!! How pathetic!

You say:How can you compare the new wheel to the old if you haven't been on the new one, yet you go on to compare the new wheel with the old one!! How do you know it is clean? When did you go on it? Crossed lines here I'm afraid mate. The only reason I said Manchester is the place to be this Christmas is because there are people Kel and I like in the pantomime (Jeffrey holland and the Chuckle Brothers!) and the ferris wheel we enjoyed last year is in the main city centre area. I'm not saying it's the place to be every year, just this year for our own personal reasons!
