Cool. So no Santa's or Christmas tunes in shops. I think I'll come to Birmingham for the festive period. Sounds like its all changed up there.

Down here my christmas spirit was wreked by the workmate that started pushing the works secret santa in June, and buying her animatronicrap fluffy decorations at about the same time (Fortunately she took my warning of their fire-risk before 1st Dec seriously. After all, I am the fire warden and was carrying a zippo...) And the old guy that ensured his place in the local paper by putting up several miles worth of exterior christmas lights accorss his flats exterior in October.

They ruined it for me. Used up my christmas spirit before Novemebr rolled around.

I still prefer public transport though. You can relax, listen to music or read a book and you don't have to worry about the driving yourself. It's also still cheaper to ride on public transport than face the kerfuffle of buying petrol, insurance, road tax etc. The bus is fine by me. :)
