Continuing the series of "Flashback Fridays" - listening to an old album on my discman to and from work in order to relive and enjoy once more the tracks and times of days long gone:

Now there's one hell of a band - I love Ben Folds and Five...never seen them live though. One day perhaps...discovered them when I was working at HMV, I think - as you can imagine I was swamped with new listening material from the day I started working there.

As a pianist, I adore the piano work in Ben's songs. I've got the sheet music to 'Rockin the Suburbs' which is very therapeutic to play.

I used to LOVE Ben Folds Five, getting into them in 1998 as well. And then at some point I stopped listening (well, after they broke up, but for some reason I haven't listened to Ben's solo stuff; I used to have Ben's "Fear of Pop" album though) but I'd feel nostalgic listening to their songs. I only wish I could've seen them live.

i LOVE this cd, every song on it is great
