Do you know a book in which two children go to Russia?
There are references to the METPO, to parachuting from a tower, and to eating Eskimos, which are either ice lollies or ice creams on a stick.
I think that I read it some time in the 1950s.

I don't know about that book but Eskimos are a brand of ice cream on a stick - still popular here in Estonia. We didn't reject everything from the Soviet years.
