I agree completely. I want me, only with a penis! Nothing is more attractive to me than someone who actually *gets* my jokes because not everyone does or gets them to the full extent of my intention.

On the other hand I don't want someone EXACTLY like me because then there would be no learning from each other and I feel that is essential. We need to challenge each other and learn to grow together.

I used to feel that way, I think--wanting a male version of myself--but I have run into so many members of the asholi tribe (assholes) in my relationships with men--abusive or not admitting they're only after sex (which I asked them to do because I'd be fine with it as long as I knew from the outset so I wouldn't let myself fall for them)--that I have come to realize something: it would be really, really nice just to have a man who would treat me with respect, enjoy my company, but also enjoy occasional time apart, enjoy making love and not consider it a sin or a reward for good behavior, allow that I require ALL the medications I am presently on, and understand that I have a disorder that incapacitates my ability to function normally in life every so often

I'm rather hoping there isn't another exact one of me out there. LOL One is enough!

Seriously though, I am hoping to find someone equal to me, which is rather different from the same. I need someone with just as strong a personality, self-awareness, sense of ethics, etc.

But I'm also looking for someone who has strengths that can compliment my weaknesses. I mean, two people with anal retentive qualities will just end up feeding on each other and creating a vortex of neuroses. LOL

The only exact sameness I'm looking for, is that the dude be interested in hot jungle sex. ;-)
