Even when you know they are with others as well, you keep it to yourself not wanting to talk about it...not wanting to tell that person how much it pains you to think of them with someone else. You cling to the memories that prove that at one time they really did love you, really did want only you. And you tell yourself that if you just give it time and just keep showing them that you'll always be there for them, someday they'll realize that they do want only you. Even when deep down you know it will never happen.
