I don't understand why, and neither do you. But if you think that he's going to treat you any better than he did before, or better than me, then you're making a big mistake. I don't want to compete for you anymore, Amy. I don't. I've done so much already, and I'm tired, and I can't live like this. If you're willing to take a chance with me, nothing will change, I promise that. But if you're going to keep pushing me away, I'm going to stop fighting. My mind and my heart can't take it anymore. I've fought for you long enough, and when you fight for so long and you can't win, there comes a time when you have to throw in the towel. I'm really close to doing that, and I don't want it to happen.
