So we went to the Chargers/Raiders game this afternoon. It was pretty cool, the place was packed, it seemed like everyone in california was there. Except of course, the Raiders. Furthermore, has anyone else gained more control over their dreams as they've grown older?

Not so much, as I've always had fairly good control over my dreams. Well, sometimes I'm still powerless, but most of the time, I can have the same level of influence.

The weird thing that's developed with me as I've grown older is my increased ability to resume or even restart dreams. Like if I wake up and still clearly remember what I last dreamed about, and go back to sleep soon enough after that, I can either pick up where I left off or start at the beginning and run through it again (and occasionally it'll be almost exactly the same, too, just with some minor changes here and there). It doesn't happen all that often (yet), but still.

On the flip side, I'm having fewer dreams come true nowadays. I'll dream little scenes, and have them actually happen some time later when I was awake. Used to happen really frequently, but now, not too much.

Yeah same with me, I find it farily easy to re enter dreams where i left off, or to restart them all together. So very weird it is!!

Yeah I actually remember a good stretch of time where I would randomly quote something from an episode of the Simpsons and within a day or two the episode where I quoted from would be aired on UPN. And yeah flying dreams rock.

Well when they play Simpsons episodes twice a day, five days a week, you probably have a good shot of calling a Simpson's episode.

I think the Simpsons now is like the British Empire of the 19th Century: the Sun never sets on a Simpsons episode.
