So, I finally heard back from Court Administration about the job I interviewed for working with Video Conferencing, and I got the job! It seems that the person I interviewed with has been in Pittsburgh visiting her mother (who is ill), which is why she hadn't gotten back to me sooner ( Read more... )

Dunno. My new boss called me from Pittsburgh on the way to the hospital to visit her mother, so I didn't want to keep her with lots of questions like that. So I have a number and a name of someone in the department I'll be working in to ask things like that. I'll make up a list, and give her a call sometime early next week.

That we should! Ideas for where? I was totally thinking that all-you-can-eat Sushi would be cool, but most of our friends don't really like sushi, so...

Hibachi place would be an option, but I know that Kim would probably bow out due to post-Otakon lack of funds. I also don't remember if you like pho or not, but if there's something at that place you'd eat, I can knock out buying Lan's birthday meal too. Again, though, not sure who else would join us if we went there. Applebee's is a fairly neutral choice, but lacks some of the exotic flair of the other choices.
