Good news, everyone!

So, I was watching CNN's noon-time financial update while waiting for my lunch, and I found out that the NASDAQ is up 6% this morning! And the S&P 500 is up 5%! For the first time in months!

Of course, we'll still down something like 75% from last year, but, hey, it's a start.

Yeah, but the markets usually end up falling off again by the end of the day, I've found. :(

I read about this today - there was a federal announcement about accounting regulation, that apparently was very good news. Also, Citigroup leaked a memo posting a large profit for the first quarter. So, good news. :)
