So the first word K read a few months ago was "Zoo." We were watching one of the Batman movies and she saw it there on the screen and read it. Voila!

So the first word she SPELLED all by herself was, of course, "HBO."

Work has begun the accelleration into the "busy season" which means it sucked crazily this week. I work in a field related to direct marketing -- and it doesn't mean I'm a bad person. For the first time in a couple years, I've got all the blankets out on lines in the back yard. Five or six crib/cot blankets, two or three twin-sized, and two queen. I'm all for commercial innovation when it comes to filling up existing retail space, but I'm kind of concerned about a conflict when it comes to public vs. publicly accessible space, like the difference between public buildings vs. privately owned stores.
