I was tired last week. Every day I woke up exhausted and went to sleep exhausted. So far this week I feel better. Had a crazy busy weekend. Spent all day Saturday out at the beach house showing the new paint job to my family and then shopped for furniture. Did a round trip Sunday to Long Island and back. Went to Macys. Should be happy but feeling strange.....can't put my finger on it. Usually I remember my dreams so I can write them down and figure out what is going on. Been dreaming for days and can't remember enough to even analyze. Just feel this vague sense of uneasiness. I really hate this!

2006 has been very busy. I am under serious pressure at work. Too many clients and not enough time in the day. My past practice has been to work on the weekends to ease it all up. So I am having about 17 people for dinner & a party Saturday night....slightly stressed about it. Last night made an after work run to BJs for supplies-I love that place! So I am curled up in bed enjoying my last hour of sleep after a great holiday weekend and the phone rings-it's 5:40 am, and my upstairs neighbor asks if I see the smoke from the brownstone down the block because it's on fire. So I decided to work from home today because I feel like I am coming down with something. Serves me right for saying out loud "I never get sick". Also serves me right for hanging around with sick people :). My kitty is also sick and that's another nightmare. He is not happy about the change from his Fancy Feast to some special diet Hill food. Cuddled in bed, cuddled on the couch, cuddled by the fire.....why do great week ends have to go so fast? Oh yeah-actually made a great dinner too! I am so talented.

I saw Rent last night. It was so amazing. After seeing the show 5 times I was concerned that Chris Columbus couldn't do it justice-but he did. Jesse L. Martin was unbelievable and I cried, as always when touched by certain words in the score. The show is depressing, but also hopeful.
