I find it particularly telling that in conservapedia's article on atheism, it gives three links, one being a link to a site dedicated to atheism.
On the sites homepage, the middle is a collection of articles. The first three are introductory articles defining/clarifying terms regarding atheism. The following two articles are on mistakes commonly made by Christians AND made by atheists.
The first paragraph in the article on mistakes atheists make is as follows: "Following are examples of mistakes I've seen atheists make when dialoguing with Christians. They are important to know for both sides so better dialogue might take place. First of all, the atheist must realize that making these mistakes lessens his credibility with a Christian and does not help his cause. Second, the Christian should know these errors so he can identify them during a conversation and, hopefully, not commit them himself."
Funny...I didn't see anything pointing out the mistakes commonly made by Christians in conservapedia's article...
So, upon continuing to read the atheism website, I discovered, much to my surprise, that it is, in fact, a Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry website. In retrospect, I really should have known better than to expect a link to a secular website on conservapedia. However, it is interesting that the website linked is more reasonable and fair about the issue than the article itself.
