My name is Alan Rickman and I am NOT an alcoholic. Although I have been known to toss back a few.

I have been quite busy with my play, as well as finishing the latest Harry Potter film, beginning filming my latest movie, "Noble Son" and I have been signed for another, "The Villa Golitsyn". "Rachel Corrie" ends its New York run at this end of ( Read more... )

Yes, you do, Alan. Will it be in this lifetime? ;)

Absolutely. Although I am curious to know if you would wait until our next lifetime? ;)

Interesting question. I suppose it would depend on how hungry I was.

We should toss back a few together soon, mate, whenever we're both not ridiculously busy.

That is the absolute bloody truth. What rock have you been hiding under lately?

Indeed. Still, it has been far too long that I have enjoyed your company. Do you have holiday plans?

Haha anytime man, seeing that "5 weeks" next to your name frightened me. =) I thought you were gonna be gone... just like Hugh Laurie. Not cool.

Oh and the best of luck with all your projects... must be exciting having so much to do, as exhausting as it is.

No, no... As I stated, I am an infrequent poster, but I am never completely silent. Besides that, when I have wonderful companions, such as you, to keep me on my toes, how could I ever leave?

You are quite welcome, my dear. By the way, I have recently purchased "Eragon" in paperback and I anxiously await reading it. Almost as much as I am looking forward to seeing the movie.

Have you? I'm attempting to read it myself, but am having a difficult time seperating what I know from film version. Hopefully you'll be able to get to it before seeing it on the screen. I prefer it in that order. Reading a novel after having visuals planted sort of takes away from the imagination.

I agree. Take me for example, or rather Professor Snape. According to Joanne herself, Snape is not as old as I am, so anyone who has seen the movies might automatically picture my portrayal of Snape whenever they are able to read the books. I have actually had the fact that I am older than Snape pointed out to me. It is rather amusing. :)
