You're absolutlely right about the world, in general, but we can't say that all is lost and the process is irreversible, as long as there are people whishing and trying to change anything about it.
Though I'm not too optimistic about the future, I believe, that in every desert of pain you can find an oasis of relief.

P.S. Just in case, sorry for the intrusion and for my language, I know it's still far from being perfect :)

It is always refreshing to know that there is hope somewhere left in the world. I fear that I am far too old and set in my ways to have much hope about anything anymore.
