You know me. I love giant robots beating each other up and drinking some wine! Drew would respond too, but he's quit LJ for some reason.

Anyway, you were a trooper! I'm impressed that you were able to keep so many flavors separate in your head. And more seemed tasty than not, which is an extra bonus!

I believe EMOD and I would be interested. I've never been much of a wine person but I'll give some wine that you've tried and liked a shot. I did like a selection of Bonny Doon dessert wines that a friend of mine recommended so I'm in for any dessert wines! And of course, the anime too.

Awesome. I would love to help out. Last night, Katy and I discovered a new wine bar right down the street from my old apartment here in Astoria. Patrick, the owner, has an awesome selection of interesting wines. I tried texting Karen about it, but had already had a lot of it (he was generous with the samples of all of the wines we were interested in LOL) so I'm not sure if the text went to the correct number. Oops. Anyway, we had Torrontes... the bran is Urban Uco, from Argentina... really wonderful! Dry but not too dry, slightly oily, with apple and pear. We sampled a semi dry Riesling after it, and I was like Whoa! This Torrontes is so much better.

I'm totally down with tasting wine. It would be nice to catch up with you two as well.
