Excuse me while I vent.

I'm in the process of using TurboTax to file my 2007 Federal and State income taxes. I'd be finished by now, awaiting at least one tasty refund check, but for some glitchiness in the automatic-updating part of the software; in essence, the program refuses to advance beyond a certain point without making sure it's got the ( Read more... )

Yikes. I use TurboTax every year to do our taxes, but I haven't started yet. I've had instances where certain schedules weren't released by the IRS yet, but damn, never anything that was unexplainable.

Whatcha gonna do?

I've ordered the CD's for both federal and state updates, which the automated system tells me I should receive in the next couple of weeks. I also have a survey to fill out, which I expect should be great fun but not really that useful as far as getting the issue resolved.

I believe all forms & schedules are now available, so if my experience hasn't scared you off TurboTax entirely (and it almost certainly shouldn't), you can probably start your taxes any time you're ready.
