September 20th last year, Steve and I had our (legal) gay wedding. We've been together 8 years, but since homos can't marry in California anymore this year seems even more significant.

The Bears Love Kevin Gillespie from Top Chef
I avoided most of America's Next Top Midget last night (you know, the season of small models), mostly because I'm so burned out on all of the screaming and non-modelly contests the girls have to perform. Steve still watches so I caught the end, but not before seeing the latest episode of Top Chef.

The Fires This Time Around
The local fires are all in the news and since Steve and I live in slight fire territory we've been keeping an eye out. Please don't panic-- unless you hear a fire is by Dodger Stadium we're in pretty good shape.
But yesterday after trapeze class we were driving home and saw this crazy sight.
