Now this may seem a strange question so roll with me here. I see in British television shows, teeny tiny little refrigerators. We call them "dorm refrigerators" here because that is what students in college dormitories use here. Now does the "normal" (and what is normal anyway?) British families use these small units? And when you refer to an American style refrigerator do you mean one as tall as Joe with a freezer and possibly two doors or one for the non-freezer part?

And yay for kitchen remodeling! My parents just redid theirs (and their house is only a few years old...lol) and it's lovely. Having a separate island where one can eat and also use for prep space is soooo nice to have. Roger is used to a much larger kitchen so he's pretty cramped in this one. Me? I hate cooking so I just cut up which veggies he tells me to and wash up. I'm a multi-tasker like that. ;)
