Building and falling apart

The building work is ongoing, and it’s now got to the point where we are greatly inconvenienced by it all. The first 8 weeks were fine, as far as I was concerned at least, because everything was happening ‘next door’, so to speak. I'm sorry that you are finding it all so stressful, and potential cat escapes I'm sure do nothing to help that. And I so know where you're coming from with the 'who's taking care of me' feelings. I guess all I can say is hang in there.. it WILL get finished, you WILL get rid of all of the brick dust, and it will all be worth it in the end.

I'm glad the cats are OK. And hang in there - even if it seems like forever, it won't be.

I know this is late and the crisis is over, but, the cats just made me laugh! When my stray cat Poppy had her kittens and a lovely anaesthetist came to take two, they suddenly scattered and we totally lost six kittens! After much sweating and searching we found two suitable ones. The others remained missing until I tipped a sofa over and found one clinging, mission impossible style, to the underside of it! They find places to disappear into alright!
