A weekend in Devon

We went to see S's daughter in Devon this last weekend. A long drive down with a beautiful stay in a lovely little hotel sandwiched between the river Exe and Dart. Enough food to sink a battle ship consumed and a fantastic time had by all. I think I'm sort of getting the hang of my new camera too now. Ok, I tried to upload the ducks. I also tried the seagull, Bantu in a Basket and even his mother, but I cant make this thing work.
Himself undersells his skill with the camera. He takes some stunners. Perhaps if I 'ask' him nicely over the weekend, he will put some more pics on. The eternally optimistic Heron for example, white water canoes, or just the scenery.
Sadly we could not make it to see the lovely D this time round, but with my youngest determined to stay in the southernmost bit of this Isle, I am sure we will be back down there in the not too distant. But please Powers that Be..... hold off with the rain next time!
