Quiet now

Be quiet for a moment.

My sister has but a few left

Here, with us.

Listen.

It's the song of her soul

About to fly free.
I went to my garden and
Gathered a small bouquet.
My garden where
We sat and laughed.

Tonight,
When stars light the heavens,

They will be one richer

For our loss,
Their gain.

Such love and light,

All our gathered spirits,

Attend her, hold her,

I'm so sorry..... anonymous August 23 2009, 03:42:56 UTC
Pray to god and ask him to give you straight at this moment. Trust in his words and all will be alright. She will live on in a much better place...

The love has been shared, light has shone, joy has painted you all together.

Quietly go on your appointed way, beloved sister of my friend.

It's all Peace now.

I dreamed about you this morning. I know it's almost time. It's just a second between here and there, you know, with such a loud silence in between. You and your sister are in my thoughts and prayers.

Love you.

Your emotional words brought tears to my eyes on this peaceful Monday morning. May peace envelope you and yours as well.
God Bless,

I want to thank everyone who sent prayers and/or kind thoughts and words when my sister died. Most of those who commented did so because I told friends and family what was happening by posting a link to the poem I wrote for her here on LJ, but most of them don't read this, so it seemed silly to post replies to each on here. But for any who do or might, I'm sorry not to have said thank you sooner. Your words were and are very much appreciated.
