Iraqis no longer worth our time

It seems as if many people have forgotten our reasons for going to war in Iraq, perhaps because of the president's choice of words lately regarding it. He is always talking about relieving the Iraqi people of a brutal dictator and helping them become free. The fact that the reason we invaded Iraq was for the continuation of empire building answers a lot of the questions brought up here.

Or unless you believe it was to stop "terrorism", although no connections have yet been found between Iraq and Al-Qaeda.

Well my post clearly says that I don't buy the democracy bullshit, which is the main justification President Bush gives today.

I think it was in the interests of US security based on faulty intelligence. Therefore, there was no good reason for invading Iraq, but we didn't know it at the time.
