you should do this. It's free. It's stress-relieving. It's an activity on which to focus and track your improvements.
Do some pushups. Do some squats. Do some crunches.
Whenever I get bored or frustrated or whatever really, I do something physical. For the high...I do it for the endorphins. And to clear my head. And because I'll never regret a day I worked out.
The only downside that I can see is, as you mentioned, that then people will see you strutting around looking and feeling good, and they will want a piece. Or the thing that has lately happened to me, if you'll allow me to indulge in a moment of vanity, is bitchez mean-muggin'. Then I hafta show 'em my gunzzz 'cause you know I'm packin'! True story.
That's literally what i'm doing. i'm about 3 weeks in on the push-ups. I even bought push-up bars so I do a "better" push up. which basically kicks my ass since I do about 1/3 of the # of push-ups with the bars.
I'm also thinking about doing a mix-martial arts class again for a few nights a week. THen I'll be waitin on fools to get up in my grill tryin ta front on me
That's awesome...I'm really into the idea of weight-training and fitness for the low cost of FREE. I mean, those three exercises are pretty much comprehensive and cost nothing, requiring no equipment to speak of. I also added in tricep dips off of a chair, y'know, tryin' to get rid of that underarm jiggle.
I hate when thing are up in the air. I am all about plans, missions, projects, and goals.
and that is what has you so fucked up over this! you want to have a plan with her, a goal, you want to make it all happen, but you don't yet. not just because she's not there, but because you're still trying to figure out what you're doing out there aside from chilling @ the b&b, working out... you need a plan for yourself. i think really, knowing both of you and the situation, that once you make that plan and achieve that goal, that everything else will fall in to place quicker than you ever expected it to.
Seriously.
Oh, and thank you for being such an awesome friend. Really. Love you. <3
