So classes started Mon. and I got sick Tues. Fin. aid hasn't come in so I can't buy my books. In Spanish class, this means I'm not allowed to talk and will not be able to ask questions or be called on in class. Apparently if you need financial aid to buy books you don't have anything to say worth listening to or deserve an education, according to ( Read more... )

Oh man!!! Happy before birthday!!! I hope you feel better!! I'm sure the Spanish situation will get better.

I've been attempting to run every day, and while I average about 120 min a week, I'm hoping to keep at it until I can go longer...!

Great job! Remember, your body will tell you when it's ready for more. I started out at .8 mi/day. I got to 2.6 mi on flat ground, but since moving back to oak'and, my new path has three inclines, and my body told me to cut back tp two. Heeding your body is very important . Running is so exhilarating , but everything in moderation. Assuming you run six days a week, ypu've chosen a great starting point. I increased .3 mi. Each time. Pick increments suited to ypur fitness level and keep it up! Sorry for any typos, i'm on my mobile rt now.

Oh gosh, you measure by miles?? I measure by time....I THINK one lap around the block is a mile for me, and I typically get in about two in twenty minutes...There's also this crazy incline road nearby that I attempted today....oh man though my sister kicked my butt majorly for the majority of the run today but i....got back...thanks to fandom....help i have a problem.....

Don't feel bad. On flat ground i do a thirteen minute mile.

Yeah, moving back to incline crazy OAK from flat sw bkly i had to cut back. I was loggin 2.6 mi each day, but on my new route with three inclines, i log almolst two. I still have to walk the last four blocks.

Lol i'd been considering gettin' back into shape for awhile, then i read a fic about bleach chars trainin for a tri, then started talkin to the authour and she gave me the final push i needed, so you could easily say that i even started because of a fandom! What ever gets you goin'!
