As you of course know, it's much, much too easy to say "Ladies, chill out" when there's the weight of an entire society bearing down on one to conform to usually impossible standards of beauty, and of course, those standards have been created not arbitrarily but because in some way or another they will garner profit for fat, ugly, middle-aged white men who've never had to worry for a second about their looks, et cetera et cetera ad nauseum but still it persists
