For the edification of the general public, myself included, there's a question that must be asked, and must be answered truthfully; for the writers, the philosophers, the dreamers and deceivers, the lovers and the libidinous: what is sexy? Just curious.

Subdued beauty is what is sexy. Sexy on TV and on the movie screen is most often seen as inyourfacesexuality sexy. What's sexy to me, and this was something that I've grown to realize, is when a woman doesn't have to flaunt it to be beautiful. It's not about what you show, but what you don't show. It's like the old fan dances.
When a girl is beautiful but doesn't have to shove a plunging neckline and the subsequent cleavage into your retinas, that's sexy. That's dignity, that's pride, that's sexy. Everybody can say that someone is hot when that person's only clothing is the equivalent of a loincloth or similar clothing. But it's elegant subtlety that is truly sexy.

Perhaps it's realizing your own inner sexuality and being comfortable and open with it, something not many people actually can do.
