Almost didn't. It turned into pneumonia, and I was hospitalized for 11 days. I'm much better now but still on oxygen at home. They almost had to put me on a respirator

I'm in the high risk group, and despite being careful I caught it before I could get the vaccine. It's been rough (not as rough as you had it, though!).
I just got vaccinated last week myself. Thanks for friending me! (Though I can't imagine what I've done to catch your attention. I hardly ever post to communities, and that's how I find people on LJ. Maybe I commented on something of yours. If so, then I'm really embarrassed that I don't remember!) Anyway, I hope you're well enough to be up and moving and without the O2 soon. Happy Holidays!
I'm always looking for more fic to read, as I don't have much else to do. I'm disabled and have to spend most of my time in either a recliner or bed due to chronic pain from fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis. When O was in the hospital I was receiving high doses of steroids to fight lung inflammation, and it caused my muscle and joint pain to go away. It came back slowly so that it just recently came back to pre-pneumonia level. My rheumatologist keeps a close eye on my inflammation level with blood tests and decided I needed to be on higher doses of steroids again, so the pain is better again. By the way, I'm still on oxygen at night but not during the day. I get short of breath when exerting, but some of that is just deconditioning. My spirits are usually good. I haven't been depressed at all. I try to do things that make me feel better, like beading and reading fan fic. It's a good thing I can get bracelets cheap, as the last time I went shopping I lost my medic alert braclet (again). It doesn't really matter how we
