The article suggested none, since someone pretty much eventually got around to telling him that they were already writing a script. It sounded like he was absolutely not in the loop.
I'd love to think it was going to be old school X-Force but I imagine it's far more likely to be a later, Wolverine-included team. Much as I've loved the recent Marvel movies, they don't seem to want to do anything to widen peoples' knowledge of the Marvel universe beyond current X-Men/Avengers A-list. I'd love to be proved wrong, though :)
I don't think they'll be using Wolverine (for several reasons) - I think it's a spin off of the next X-men film Days of Future's Past (or whatever the precise title is), so it's likely to be Cable. I doubt Hugh is involved contractually, and I doubt they'll use Wolverine without Hugh until he officially hand up the claws, or if it's even legally possible. Part of the reason why they don't do any 'widening; is contractual. Before marvel started doing their own movies, they offered their IP to multiple studios with very specific rules. Though much had reverted to Marvel, the remaining ones are 'use it or lose it', so they keep using it. As an example of the 'rules', Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver will be appearing in both the next X-Men film under FOX and the next Avengers film under Marvel. In the Avengers, the twins cannot be called 'mutants' or otherwise hint that mutants like the X-men exist; they cannot mention being Magneto's children, for instance. In the X-Men movie, there can be no mention of the Avengers. Until FOX let's is

Interesting! I did not know that. I mean, I did know that rival studios were vying/squabbling about Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver but didn't realise how formalised and rigid the contractual conditions were. It explains a lot.
I would be soooo very on board if it's Cable-era X-Force (while simultaneously bracing for directorial liberties being taken, of course!)
