The worst part was, Rictor wasn't even sure why he cared. Maybe because he figured he'd wasted a lot of time on Jamie and those were hours he was never going to get back. He was dressed down for a change, not even sporting his usual high boots. No, he was in sneakers for a change, and he'd even managed to find a pair of boring looking jeans. The closest thing to wild he had on was his t-shirt, a simple black number with a rip in the side and the word 'slag' written across the front in bold white letters.
Even Vince had his limits, and he was a little sick of everyone looking at him as if he were mad.
He slowed when he spotted the other man by the water though, his sulking and sorrow fading as he studied Rictor. He looked well miserable, and while that wasn't exactly an uncommon look for his new friend, Vince was still concerned.
"You alright?" he asked as he wandered over, inviting himself to sit down.

"Been better," he wryly muttered, not because the question was stupid, but because he was annoyed at being upset about Jamie and Tony when they obviously couldn't have cared less. "I gave up being friends with these two freaking morons."

"You reckon you'll patch things up with them eventually?" he asked.

He sighed and rubbed at his forehead. "I'm like someone they put up with and don't share anything with. And I don't want to be the guy people hang out with when they want to feel better about themselves, you know?"
