What do you think makes a bad Harry Potter fan fiction?

Tell me your biggest fan fic pet peeve. What's the most cliche plot, characterization, or pairing you've ever seen?

What do you think makes a bad Harry Potter fan fiction? An annoying Mary Sue that's transfered from America and has some stupid power (I CAN READ YOUR MIIIIND).

Tell me your biggest fan fic pet peeve. What's the most cliche plot, characterization, or pairing you've ever seen? Hermione and Draco are Head Boy and Girl. So they share common rooms and fall in love. Wtf.

Give me anything that drives you insane about HP fan fic. Extensive details and specific examples are more than welcome.How Hermione never seems to put up a fight in Draco/Hermione fics. I'm all for D/Hr, but like..seriously! She's not going to just fall head over heels in love, and neither is he. There's got to be some inner struggle.

What do you think makes a bad Harry Potter fan fiction?
Poor writing. When the author is obviously not a good writer, it's really hard for the fiction to be any good. Also, poor knowledge of canon. I've read some ridiculous stuff before...Oh, and I won't even look at anything with an OC or Mary Sue or whatever. JK has written enough canon characters that there is no need to make up on or write yourself as an author into a fic.

I also think the most cliche plot is that either Ron/Hermione or Harry/Ginny is trying to get the other couple together with a crazy plan, and in the end, the couple gets together and kisses passionately in front of "the whole Gryffindor Common Room," and the audience cheers. Little did I know that the latter part of this plot would become canon (Harry and Ginny's kiss...). Another cliche plot is "Character 1 mourned deeply ( ... )

The thing that annoys me the most is when they say two guys should get together like: Ron and Harry, Sirius and Lupin, Lupin adn Severus, Draco/Ron, Draco/Harry, etc. It gets on my nerves, I mean that's gross! Also, I think Draco/Hermione, Remus/Lily, like couples that will never happen! Oh and now Hermione/Harry gets on my nerves occasionly.
