well at least you can blame it on your teacher for being a flipping idiot. a couple weeks ago we were doing the bases/acids lab in gallucci's class and he told us to feel the bases (but he specified that he DID mean for us to touch them) and one chick poured some on the table and started playing with it because it was slimy. genius. the tips of her fingers got burned because she sitting there playing with a freaking chemical the whole hour.

hahahahhahahhah... i remember that lab. was she playing w/NaOH? just a guess, b/c that is very basic and can burn the living tar out of your hands.

i'm not sure what it was....but i know we did alot with NaOH so that was probably it. and of course gallucci had it diluted alot because we WERE supposed to feel it....but we weren't supposed to play with it all hour. i guess he needs to specify next time, lol :)
