So the computer crap is all installed, and the blue haze in my study caused by extreme profanity on my part is starting to clear. I must say it's nice to have a spiffy new machine, and that it's all wireless and speedy. It's been a revelation to learn that the godawful retching noise my old machine was wont to make was not, in fact, an editorial ( Read more... )

Congratulations on the new machine! *G* New computers are love. I'd use my desktop (or as I call it, my $2000 TiVo) more, but the space bar on the keyboard sticks and I'm too lay to get a new one.

That, and I adore the Precious too much. Something about being able to type from the recliner...

Yay for a new, shiny computer! There's nothing like it. Enjoy the newness while it lasts, until the keyboard gets all gunked up with fluff and crumbs. *is a computer slob*

Hmm. My cats have that one covered! (With hairballs, sad to say.) Hey, I'm gonna read your novel this weekend (my "weekend" is Sun-Mon.) and I'm very excited!

Hairballs will do ya. However, keep in mind that the Computing Gods are fickle with terrible tempers. Think Hera on a PMS day when the Aztec gods haven't made chocolate yet.

As to the novel--- um, please keep in mind that it's my first long, plotted fic and that I tax my beta to the point where she misses a few typos. Also, I'm addicted to semi-colons and sentence fragments. Uh... yeah... *hides*
