New fic: That's Entertainment

Just realized this is my 20th fan fic story. All XMM. Never saw that coming when I starting banging out "Great Scott" a couple years ago. Anyway . . .

Oh, Logan, stop being a whining b**ch and either admit that you're pining after Scott's ass all along or get a girl (and a dog) for yourself.

LOL! Too true! (He enjoys being Darwin's big brother, though. He'd never admit it, but he does.)

I'm not a big fic reader, except I've been going on this bizarre X-Men fic-run lately (probably because the movies turned out so, eh, crap) and this series caught my attention. It's hilarious. Hilarity is needed after the aforementioned movie crapfest. And I love Darwin the Beagle and the exchanges between Scott and Logan.

I was wondering if you'd consider writing something like this set in pre-X-Men time, like when Scott and Jean first met? I love those early days fics, but they seem to be far and few in between... anyway, I mostly just wanted to see Jean, Scott, and Emma would turn out in this Snarkfest. (Chicken hawk, dude. That was brilliant.)

Thanks for the kind words -- I'm so glad you like my stuff! :)

I'll definitely keep your suggestion in mind for future fic, but I gotta warn you -- I kinda write what hits me, and I'm not good at specific prompts. (Found this out the hard way when I took part in a ficathon earlier this year and it was really hard, and I wasn't all that happy with the story I produced.) Still, I do like Emma a lot, and I'm sorta inching my way into reading comics so I can get a better handle on her and try to do her justice.

Ha! That last line slayed me. I've been really behind on fanfic reading these days, but just wanted to let you know that I love the introduction of Lola, and man, you just get better and better. :) Kudos on your twentieth story!

Thanks! I'm glad you like it! I use my two kitties for Lola inspiration. My tortie cat, Sushi, used to love CNN for the crawl. She'd watch it for a few minutes and then wander off. I assumed it was because she's an indoor cat and the weather report didn't interest her. ;)

I love your icon, BTW -- it's adorable. Too bad it's not a beagle!
