[San isn't exactly thinking right now. She's in a rage, and she's going to act on it.

Thus, when she comes across a human-looking person, she draws her dagger and lunges at her.]

[Anthony heard the forest is something worth seeing. And since DC area isn't big on natural forests, he decided to check it out. He wasn't expecting to run into anything hostile, how dangerous can a forest be. It's not like it's Underground, he's been warned about not going to the Underground. Nobody said anything about the forest]

[Again, a distinctly human creature. At the moment, it's enough to set San off.

She runs at him, drawing her dagger once more and taking a generous horizontal swipe at the man.]

[Anthony doesn't notice the attacker until she's right there and he feels a sharp pain in his arm. He turns immediately, his eyes wide, to see what the hell just happened]

What the--?

[He sees the blade and takes a step back. NOt good. NOT GOOD]

[San just swings her blade at him again.]

[She's just taking a casual stroll as she often likes to do. Today she has decided to wander a little closer to the forest than she normally would, but she doesn't bother giving the trees a passing glance.]

[And by comes San! Deep down, she's just a little surprised to see so many humans walking near forest ground, as she usually dwells way away from where most people would normally go.

The downside on this would be that she's not exactly happy to see them. So she changes her course and charges toward C.C., taking a jump with her drawn blade at last.]

[Not as planned! C.C. turns sharply at the movement and barely lunges out of the way in time. She stumbles a bit, turning around quickly and backing away to out as much distance as possible between her and the knife wielding girl.]

Where on earth did you come from?

[San follows, swinging her dagger again and saying nothing. Not talkative, this one.]

[Nimueh stands by her forest cave, setting up wards and protections. Yes, she has her apartment, but it is always wise to have a second, secret location, and there is something comforting about the mystery and wild of the forest.]

[Cue San running by - and slowing down as she sees the human in front of the cave, evidently having some interest in it. Immediately, her hand is on her blade again, though not yet drawing it.]

What are you doing here?

[Nimueh scowls but does not stop the ritual -- if she does now, she'll have to start all over again, a tedious and frustrating endeavor. She hopes that the child will simply move on and leave her be.]
