GARO fic: Valentine's Day
A quickie this time. I'm trying a new style of writing for this one, let's see how well the reception is.
Title: Valentine's Day

Summary: My first Valentine's Day fic.
Warning: My predicted ending for Makai Senki: Everyone lives.
13 February, 2350 hours.
Kouga enters the mansion to Gonza's usual greeting. A quick nod of acknowledgement later, his ornate white coat was off his shoulders at last and he headed straight to the living room to rest.
13 February, 2352 hours.
Gonza quickly catches up with his master and held a finger up to his lips, whispering in a hushed tone that silence must be observed when entering. Kouga ignores the warning; it's his mansion afterall.
13 February, 2353 hours.
The door abruptly swung open, nearly colliding with the wall next to it. Upon entry, Kouga realised why Gonza said what he did.
13 February, 2354 hours.
His boots tapping softly against the floor, he cautiously approached the snoozing Kaoru on the sofa. He hesitated, before crouching down by her side.
13 February, 2356 hours.
He brought his hand up to gently tilt her chin up, giving him better access to her lips.
13 February, 2357 hours.
After he was sure Kaoru was still asleep, he slowly leaned in, eyes shut in anticipation of the inevitable contact.
13 February, 2358 hours.
Their lips made contact.
13 February, 2359 hours.
Unbeknownst to Kouga, Kaoru was very much wide awake. Her eyes jolted open for a brief moment, before shuttering them again. Kouga reluctantly retreated, preparing to rest for the night.
14 February, 0000 hours.
Kaoru smiled.
"Happy Valentine's Day, Kouga."
