It is currentlyl 12:05 a.m. and I should have been in bed an hour ago. IM me or call when you have time. I'll give you the whole sad, convoluted, exceedingly dramatic story. I kicked something. I cleaned my house within an inch of it's life. I feel better. The tension headache lingers but what can you do?
Maybe we can talk this weekend.... yes I know, mine starts a day later than yours.
Erk! I just walked in the door (it's ten minutes to midnight here) after being away for, lessee, over 14 hours. And I'm just about to try to hypnotise myself to sleep because I have to be up in four-and-a-bit hours, after which we're heading out to a friend's up-country to pick up our new hen, after which we have a sort-of cat wake with three other friends, after which I'm going to quietly collapse in a corner for a few hours before heading out to do some more work (as in work-work, some of which I was doing today). So I'm thinking I'll be ringing on Sunday. Your Sunday. I think we're currently 15 or 16 hours apart, but I'll check it out - wouldn't want to be ringing you at three in the morning :P
Woota loife. The "feel better" part is gooood. Dramatic tales I'm fine with - I seem to be standing in for the Cheerful Fairy ATM...
Suffice it to say that elementary school is no more fun the second time than it was the first. I know that kids are mean and that life isn't fair... but it's harder to resist the urge to kick something when your child is sobbing. Again.
It all worked out, sort of. She's happy today. Sorry for whining. Thanks for asking.
Why resist the urge to kick the little shit(s)? Deserves them right. Or, y'know, probably best you don't.. Or you could advise her to push the person off the monkey bars so they break their arm. And no, I so did not do that when I was 8 *shifty eyes*.
Anyway.. just hope the elementary horrors leave her alone..
