My apologies.

I did not in fact drop off the face of the planet, instead I dropped off the landing. Any of you who know me are aware that I have a habit of "adventure".

Once upon a time... )

I'm glad you're up and around, lovely. Although I'm all for keeping you to myself.

Bendy? Thats... good to know. I'll remember that. <.<

Wow! That's a hell of a story! I hope things return to whatever passes for normal very soon. As for me, I've left my medical transcription program and gotten a job. I'm tired of school, apparently. Not much else to say, really. :-)

See, once you finish your med trans school you can ask me for a job. I need to find a transcriptionist now. Things are getting closer to normal all the time. Thanks for the good thoughts!

HI. I missed you.

You and Lola have terrible foot luck, you know.

LOL. Miss you too. Long time no talk.

Yes. There for a while we had one set of good feet between us.

Gah!

I have ligaments missing in one foot from lame diagnosis like that; they popped free and with nothing to do apparently just sort of withered and died--a podiatrist realized what was wrong when I was still spraining the muscles really really often several years later, but to fix it would have involved not only surgery like that, but harvesting ligaments elsewhere in my body. If I ever actually break it again, I'll go there. Heh.

Here are bandaids. Not much help now, but still.

Yes. I was very lucky. Julia said it's a common injury that is relatively easy to fix - three months of ick and then fine - if you do it immediately but otherwise gives you potential problems for life. It's all down to who you know, unfortunately. I complained about the being off work, and the surgeon asked me how long I planned to have my feet. Talk about perspective.

Thanks for the bandaids. Wish I could have fixed you too. *offers time turner*
