It's fucking distracting. When was the last time you watched a 3D movie and thought "Holy fucking shit, this is awesome!"? Right, you were 6 and Captain Eo was still playing at Disneyland. TITANIC in 3D. Someone needs to sit James Cameron down, but that's an entirely different tangent so

Totally agree. 3D is so unecessary. I suppose it made Avatar tolerable, but ultimately that was a bad sign, as no film should have to rely on 3D to work...

Agreed. I did think the 3D in Avatar was cool, but it's also totally worthless without the 3D, so not exactly a good poster child for the cause.

I'm with you. Way too much 3D. Ugh. I did really enjoy Alice and Avatar in 3d and I do like the cgi cartoons in 3D because those already feel like park rides but all of the other stuff. Meeeeh.
