Every morning, Touya and I would go to school together. I'd ride my bicycle from the house that I grew up in, with the little maple in the front and the irises around the side, down the street to the corner where the electronics store was. It was never open when I went by in the mornings

There are many things that I miss of home. This city reminds me little of it.

My brother and I would awake every morning and walk through the palace, ensuring that things were being run as they should. Any matters were handled by Gilgamesh as I stood by to ensure nothing unfair was dictated by either side. Then the cooks would prepare first meal. I can almost smell the bread and goat. I has been very long.

It was not hard work. Only things that needed to be done, but it allowed me time to spend with my brother.

Actually, I can remember waking up early sometimes and watching the people stopping at our bakery like that. Sometimes Mom even woke me up early on the weekends and had me help out.

But I really only learned how to make the easy breads.
